Azion offers a complete web platform for comprehensive security, with easy implementation and exceptional support. When we faced attacks, the WAF, Bot Manager, and DDoS Protection allowed us to mitigate threats without interruption. The robustness of the tools and the agility of the Security Response Team were crucial to keeping our operations stable and secure. Azion is an indispensable partner for our infrastructure and security needs.

Impact at Scale
- 99.5% fewer fraud and attack incidents.
- 200+ hours saved per month with the Security Response Team.
- 100% of the team focused on innovation, not incidents.
- 20% reduction in infrastructure costs.
- 30% improvement in content delivery speed.
Challenges
Before partnering with Azion, HeroSpark faced several challenges that limited its growth and compromised user experience:
- Heavy operational workload managing incidents and fraud, consuming hundreds of monthly hours from the tech team.
- Need to scale infrastructure to support HeroPay, a resilient and scalable payment solution.
- High storage and content delivery costs.
- Slow content delivery for part of the user base.
These barriers impacted operational efficiency and hindered the team’s focus on innovation.
Solution
To overcome these challenges, HeroSpark adopted the Azion Web Platform, combining automation, security, and performance in a single ecosystem:
- Security Response Team (SRT): Automated mitigation and protection against DDoS attacks and fraud, saving over 200 hours per month of manual work.
- DDoS Protection: Real-time mitigation of volumetric attacks at both the network and application layers.
- Web Application Firewall (WAF): Managed rules and custom policies to block cyberthreats such as the OWASP Top 10 and emerging vulnerabilities.
- Bot Manager: Behavioral detection, fingerprinting, and rate limiting to block malicious bots.
- TLS/SSL: Centralized certificate management with modern encryption protocols;
- HTTP/3: Faster loading times and lower latency.
- Observability and SIEM Integration: Real-time metrics and logs to accelerate detection and response to threats.
With this modern, distributed architecture, HeroSpark achieved a more secure, stable, and scalable operation.
Results
- 200+ hours saved per month by automating fraud and attack detection and response through the Security Response Team (SRT).
- Uninterrupted operations during attack attempts, with no noticeable impact on end users.
- Fast implementation with specialized support from Azion’s SRT.
- Improved performance and efficiency, with 20% lower infrastructure costs and 30% faster content delivery.
- Proven resilience to scale HeroPay securely and with high performances.
