# Azion status and maintenance

Azion publishes the health of Azion Web Platform on the Azion Status Page, and it announces maintenance that interrupts a service before the maintenance starts. Check the Status Page first when you observe an issue on Azion Web Platform.

## Azion Status Page

The [Azion Status Page](https://status.azion.com/) shows the status of every platform component. Each component reads one of four states: *Operational*, *Degraded performance*, *Partial outage*, or *Major outage*.

During an incident, the page carries the regions it affects and its estimated resolution. Subscribe on the page to receive an email when Azion opens, updates, or resolves an incident.

The Status Page also publishes the location codes of Azion data centers. The same code arrives in the `x-azion-edge-location` response header and on the Azion error page. For the header, refer to [Diagnostic response headers](/en/documentation/support/diagnostic-headers/).

### When the Status Page shows no incident

When the Status Page shows no incident, investigate the issue with [Basic troubleshooting](/en/documentation/support/basic-troubleshooting/). When the issue persists, collect the evidence that [Gather information for Azion Support](/en/documentation/support/gather-information/) lists, and [open a support ticket](/en/documentation/support/open-tickets/).

## Scheduled maintenance

Azion notifies you up to 10 days in advance about an interruption that maintenance or a technical adjustment needs. Emergencies are the exception and carry no advance notice. An emergency is a case that can put the regular operation of Azion products and services at risk, or the safety of all customers against a detected vulnerability.

Azion sends a notice in one of two ways:

- A notice posted to Azion Console.
- A message to the email addresses associated with your account.

A notice in Azion Console takes effect when Azion posts it. A notice by email takes effect when Azion sends it, whether or not you read it. Keep a working email address on your account to receive them.

### Maintenance and the SLA

The Service Level Guarantees of the [Service Level Agreement](/en/documentation/agreements/sla/) do not apply during a maintenance window that Azion announced, unless you and Azion agree otherwise in writing.
