# Delete your account

You can delete an Azion account from **Account Settings** in Azion Console. To change the name, company, or address of the account and keep it, refer to [Configure account settings](/en/documentation/guides/platform/account-and-billing/account-settings/).

## Prerequisites

- Access to Azion Console as the **Account Owner**. The **Delete account** button shows only to a user with Account Owner privileges.
- No pending debts on the account. To review them, refer to [Billing](/en/documentation/guides/platform/account-and-billing/billing-and-subscriptions/).

## Delete the account

Before the deletion runs, a window lists the status of items in the account, such as **Debts**. Any debt it shows must be cleared before you can finish.

> **Caution**
>
> Deleting an account is permanent. The confirmation states that the action removes the Personal Account and all associated data from Azion's platform, and that it cannot be undone.

To delete the account in Azion Console:

1. **Open Account Settings**

   Access [Azion Console](https://console.azion.com/) and, in the account menu, select **Account Settings**.

2. **Start the deletion**

   In the **Danger Zone** section, select **Delete account**.

3. **Confirm the deletion**

   In the text box, enter `DELETE`.

4. **Select Delete account**

Azion Console shows *Your account has been deleted* and opens the [sign-up page](https://console.azion.com/signup/). An email confirming the deletion reaches the address of the account. To tell Azion about your experience, write to <feedback@azion.com>.
